Wife       : Is she your Mom? But, I thought so.
Malin       : What make you thought so?
Wife       : Her eyes. You know, that woman missed her son very much
Malin       : She is not my mother.
Mother   : Son, it’s me! (Cried Malin’s mother, examining).
Malin       : (Malin didn’t respond. His face was as cold as the ice as he stood and released his mother’s embrace.)
Wife       : Can you prove him as your son? Who is your son name?
Mother   : Malin Kundang is his name and he left home 17 years ago.
Malin       : (laughing and mock his mom) my mom? Are you kidding me?
Wife       : Dear, if she is your mom, you should recognize her. I will accept her as my mother in law. You should know that I miss a love from a mother.
Malin       : Mother? Whose mother are you? I don’t know you. My mother never wears such ragged clothes like this.
People 1   : Malin, it’s your mom. You must remember her. It is impossible for you to forget her. She has given you a birth.
People 2  : You should remember what she has sacrificed only for you.
Malin       : Nonsense! She is not my mom.
People 1   : Malin... what did you say? You don’t recognize her?
Malin       : She is not my mother. (Shout). If she is my mom she will not disturb me. Now, I have my own life with my own wealthy. What I’ve got is from my own sweat and I got it without anyone help.
People 2  : Okay. If you don’t recognize your mother. Now, I want to ask. Do you still remember your father who goes overseas to try his luck like what you did?
Malin       : My parents have died since I was just a little child. They left me alone
Malin       : (said angrily) Guard! Take this beggar out of my room! Give them some money so they won’t disturb me again.
People 2  : Malin... why did you treat your mother like this? You are so mean, Malin!! You are so mean!
Narrator : When they were finally outside, she sat on the sand. There she burst into tears.
People 1   : Just be patient, ma’am. I think he is not Malin whom you are looking for. He just has same name as your son.
People 2  : He is another Malin or he has changed his own self into another Malin?
Mother   : Dear God, if he isn’t my son, please save him from all disasters. But if he is, please punish him while he is still alive.
Narrator : Suddenly, the wind blew so hard. The dark clouds urged, followed by the rain.
The ship was shaking. The situation became out of control. All of the ship’s passengers were running out of his ship, including Malin and his wife. Bowing down her head, Malin’s mother was holding her aching heart.
When Malin was rushing out and passed his mother, his feet suddenly froze and it forced him to stop running. His fee’s condition raced him to bow down in front of his mother.
Bad luck cannot be rejected and good luck cannot be earned. After he bowed-down, his whole body turned into stone. He was punished for not admitting his parent who had given him birth.

Kumpulan Puisi

Puisi Kemerdekaan

Perjuangan Pertiwi
Karya: Cherry Chrisanty/09
Bertahun – tahun pertiwi dijajah
Jadi pesuruh negeri penjajah
Tapi…
Bangsa tak kenal lelah
Terus pertiwi susun siasat
Tuk jadikan mereka bosan

Beribu cara ditorehkan
Taktik gerilyapun dicoba
Bambu runcing pertiwi gunakan
mengusir ketidakadilan
Sayangnya…
Ketidakadilan belum juga pergi
Kebosanan belum sampai ke pikiran mereka
Terus mereka rebut kekayaanmu
Terus mereka kuasai alammu
Mereka buat kau jadi tak berdaya
Bahkan…
Kau biarkan kehormatanmu diinjak

Lambat laun
Kau sadar…
Lelah tak kau butuhkan untuk menghadapi mereka
Yang ada dibenakmu hanyalah
Sebuah kata kebebasan yang tlah lama diimpikan pertiwi
Terus kau bakar semangatmu
Teruskau nyalakan api perjuanganmu
Tuk menyampai puncak merdekamu

Sekarang…
Tak ada lagi ketidakadilan
Tak ada lagi ketidakberdayaan
Yang ada hanyalah…
Sebuah kata KEMERDEKAAN

Bunga Bangsa
Karya:Cherry Chrisanty/09

Demi kata MERDEKA
Kau kerahkan seluruh kekuatanmu
Kau maju ke garis depan
Tuk menentang belenggu yang menghadang
Kau pertaruhkan hidupmu
Kau biarkan darahmu yang suci mengering

Kini semua tlah kau genggam
Merdekamu t’lah kembali ke tanganmu
Merah putih yang kau perjuangkan
T’lah kembali kau tancapkan ke tanah bangsa
Sang saka tlah berkibar menghiasi langit nan biru

Sekarang…
Belenggu t’lah pergi meninggalkan pertiwi
Pertanda…
Pengorbananmu tak sia- sia
Taruhanmu berbuah manis
Namun…
Kau pergi…
Kau pergi meninggalkan warisan termahalmu
Kau tiada dengan satu harapan
Kelak kau ingin lihat pertiwi terus berjaya
Terima kasih wahai bunga bangsa
Warisanmu kan kami jaga
Harapanmu kan kami wujudkan
Karna…
Engkau adalah bunga
Bunga yang pernah tumbuh bagi bangsa
Dan kan terus merekah di hati bangsa

Puisi Cinta

Baru Kutahu Cinta
Karya: Cherry Chrisanty

Dahulu kau tersenyum padaku
Dahulu kau pandang aku dengan mata indahmu
Semua itu hanya kenangan bagiku

Ku tak pernah tahu
Mengingatmu di bayangku membuat getar hatiku
Mengenang pandang tajam indah matamu
Membuat ceria hatiku
Kau warnai duniaku dengan warnamu
Kau merahkan hatiku dengan amarahmu
Kau birukan benakku dengan cerita indahmu

Namun kutahu
Kau telah pergi dariku
Kau pergi tanpa meninggalkan jejakmu
Hanya satu kata yang kau berikan padaku
“AKU SELALU ADA UNTUKMU”

Kata itulah yang selalu terngiang di telingaku
Kata itulah yang selalu kusimpan dalam benakku
Hingga waktu menyadarkanku
Tlah kutemukan arti cinta

Puisi Kemanusiaan
Tikus dalam Persembunyian
Karya : Cherry Chrisanty

Katakan kepada kami…
Sampai kapan jerih payah kami engkau hisap
Melalui senyum manismu
Yang tak pernah menjadi hiburan

Katakan kepada kami…
Sampai kapan engkau memperdaya keringat  kami
Dengan berbagai tagihan hidup
Berbagai tagihan yang kau namai pajak

Katanya negeri ini negeri bersama
Kau aumi kami dengan tipu dayamu
Kau bakar kami dengan bom harga sembako
Bom yang kau buat demi melindungimu

 Kami dapat kau perdaya
Kami dapat kau gigit
Tapi kami tetaplah manusia
Bukan manusia seperti tikus dalam kubangan

Seharian kau tertawa di ruang dinginmu
Sementara budakmu terbakar panas mentari
Seharian kau campakkan bulir – bulir padi
Sementara kami mengais sesuap nasi penuh harapan

Engkau perdaya kami
Engkau bohongi kami
Tapi kami tetaplah manusia yang kau anggap kulimu
Namun engkau lebih hina dengan topengmu
Topeng yang kau pakai dalam harimu
Untuk menutup identitasmu
Jatidirimu sebagai tikus dalam persembunyian
